Case Studies

Options When It Matters

A large US marine construction company was referred to ACL Shipbrokers. They required assistance in finding a multicat type vessel for shallow draft anchor handling support for one of their cable barges on a project in South America.

Iraqi Oil Majors

New clients, Iraqi oil majors, came to us to help them find a specific ASD tug design, a Damen 3212 ASD terminal tug, for purchase. The scope was berthing of tankers at a Basra oil terminal. We offered them the tugs of this type available on the global market at the time.

Challenging Sale

We approached Owners of a Delta Shipyard built ‘multicat type’ vessel if they could consider selling; she had been strategically placed in East Africa. This was a real challenge as there was little chance of selling the vessel locally and mobilising the vessel elsewhere was potentially going to be prohibitively expensive.

Specialist Services

Our core business is sale, purchase and chartering, however we offer a broad range of other specialist services to support your vessel needs.
